Dynamics of Life - A scientific, interactive exhibtion.
PONG.LI created an fascinating exhibition including a scientific, realtime 3d application and algorithms, showing our evolution through 800 million years in one slice (From first Gallertoid till Now). Projected on a holographic display the prehistorical object (Our all mother) appears to float in mid-air.
Navigation is performed with a user menu on a touchscreen. The object can be rotated, zoomed in on and zoomed out from. Individual parts of the animals bodies can be lifted away from the rest, enabling them to be examined more closely. Among the components that can be displayed separately from one another are bone structure, muscle structures, and neural networks. Superimposed texts and pictures of fossils provide the visitor with additional information.
